My research agenda broadly focuses on entrepreneurial strategy, technological change, and organizational design. I have explored various questions and phenomonon within these area through large-scale empirical studies of the commercial drone industry, carbon nanomaterials (nanotubes & graphene), e-commerce, and artificial intelligence (AI) using advanced econometric, causal inference, and machine learning tools.
I teach a master's-level course titled Technology Strategy & New Product Development (syllabus). This case-based class examines strategic and organizational issues that firms face with regard to innovation strategy and product development. Given that AI is fundamentally transforming new product development, I have partnered with Base44, a leading no-code app development platform, to give students hands-on experience building applications and developing the technical skills they'll need to thrive in this rapidly evolving landscape. I also teach a Ph.D. seminar titled Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship covering relevant academic research on the implications of technological change for economic growth, societal progress, entrepreneurship, and firm strategy.

Previously, I completed doctoral and master's degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor's degree in Industrial & Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
